Tonight I counted all the money I made from selling my banana bags yesterday. I sell my banana bags for a gold coin donation. A gold coin in Australia is a $1 or $2 coin. Sometimes people don't have these so they give me other coins or even notes....... [view]

Here are the results from our survey of Year 4 & 5 pupils at St. Mary’s in Kingswinford. The replies are good in that they show that everyone is very keen on saving the rainforest! This is what we found:

It is just under a week until I take off on my first visit to meet some school students in Queensland, Australia.

Today I learnt about invoices. I had two people wanting to take bags of my bananas but they didn't have any money. I wrote down the amounts on paper and told them that the terms were four days. I also made up some more bags of bananas to sell this week.

Today I made $96 for the Deforestaction project. I can now bank the money and buy 48 square metres of forest from Deforestaction. I am happy. Everyone is very proud of me.
