Description:   'Climate Justice: organising for effective community action on climate change' is the title of workshop jointly sponsored by CIVICUS UN and the Global Youth Action Network during the CIVICUS World...
Goals:   The workshop aims to bring together all constituencies and individuals interested in exchanging ideas and exploring ways to organize for effective citizen action on climate change in two major respects: (a) civil society role in climate change adaptation by vulnerable communities in poor regions, and (b) civil society role in post-Kyoto treaty negotiations leading to a new climate change regulatory framework (Copenhagen, December 2009).
